Skills for Living

Saturday 21st April 2007

Living an Abundant Life (BASED ON MATTHEW 5:2-12) Looking through Jesus' heart at the Beatitudes in a way that empowers us to live abundant lives today.

I will give you a new heartHave you ever wondered what it really means to be meek or how the meek will inherit the earth? Why are we blessed if we mourn? And what are we mourning for? Why are the persecuted mentioned twice in the passage? And what does being persecuted really mean anyway?

Val Acuff is a gifted teacher and she and Walt will be coming to West Vale Baptist Church for a day's teaching on the Beatitudes. They will present a unique, thought provoking and challenging insight into this well-known passage of scripture that is life changing and liberating. Their teaching is very understandable and uses stories and everyday illustrations that will capture your imagination.

Walt and Val Acuff are founders of Skills For Living, an international ministry that has touched literally thousands of lives on four continents through retreats, teaching, training and conferences. Visit their web site: www.skills.org for more information.
