SUMMARY:Dads and lads weekend - September 2006
DESCRIPTION:Each year we hold at least one "Dads & Lads" weekend when those from 3\n to 300 yrs old (well sometimes it seems like it) troll off and rough it for\n a night or two. This year we went to Gordale Scar campsite.\n \n \n Church is much more than just getting together to hear a sermon and singing\n songs on a Sunday, it also means getting to know each other, encouraging\n and supporting each other, sharing our problems and fun times too.\n \n \n \n \n \n Here the kids are crossing the beck to escape the washing up!\n \n \n \n \n \n The Saturday morning traditional football game indicates the competitive\n spirit of Allan our pastor, who clearly has decided to go for the man (Ian)\n and not the ball!\n \n \n \n \n \n The Saturday trudge (sorry, I meant trek) was up the waterfall and along\n the scar and around to Malham Cove and back to the camp-site via Malham\n village and Janet's Foss. We even managed to avoid losing anyone or\n breaking any bones. A fantastic achievement for mere men! Well done!\n \n \n \n \n \n Lunch time at the top.
