Ordinary folk
A church is not a building, but the body of Christ on earth in a particular locality. Just like a human body is made up of different parts, West Vale Baptist Church is made up of ordinary people of varied shapes, sizes, talents and abilities with the one common factor of loving Jesus and serving God (see chapter 12 of the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians [1 Cor 12]).

Our aim is to learn more of Jesus, to become more like him and be a light to the world so that others can come to know the peace and joy of being a follower of his. Being ordinary folk, we often fail the high calling of discipleship, but by his grace we have a fresh start whenever we fail and a determination to strive for the fulness of the stature of Christ!
